1. Download the AppImage
Get the latest AppImage by clicking here.
2. Make the AppImage executable
Once the download is complete, you need to make the AppImage executable. There are several ways to do this:
Using the file manager
- Right click on the downloaded AppImage file and select "Properties".
- Go to the "Permissions" tab.
- Check the box that says "Allow executing file as program" or similar.
Using the terminal
Open a terminal and navigate to the directory where the AppImage is located, then run the following command:
chmod +x Frontline.AppImage
3. Install the AppImage
AppImages are designed to be portable and do not require installation. However, it is still convenient to have them properly integrated into your system.
You should install Gear Lever to manage your AppImages and integrate them into your system.
Gear Lever will automatically move the AppImage to a central location (~/AppImages) and create desktop entries for easy access.
Alternatively, you can install AppImageLauncher which provides similar functionality.
